When Great Security entered a phase of rapid expansion, the leadership team faced a defining challenge:

How do we build a leadership culture strong enough to carry a national growth journey?

The company had already begun accelerating its development — integrating new teams, expanding its footprint across Sweden, and preparing for greater operational and financial responsibility. But with growth came a clear insight: as the company scaled, its leaders needed to scale with it. That became the starting point for a long-term partnership between Great Security and NSM.

Co-creating Great Academy

From the outset, Great Security emphasized the need for solutions tailored to their reality — a dynamic organization, growing quickly, with leaders spread across the country.

In close collaboration with the founders and senior leadership, NSM helped create Great Academy: a long-term, flexible leadership program designed to strengthen both leadership capacity and company culture.

Great Academy combined:

  • individual coaching,
  • four full-day leadership development sessions per cohort,
  • shared facilitation between NSM and Great Security’s own leaders,
  • and a modular structure that allowed real-time adaptation to organizational needs.

The intention was clear: to build leaders who were equipped not only to manage people — but to shape the culture and coherence of a growing national organization.

Leadership themes for Growth

Each module in the Academy reflected the demands of a fast-scaling business, with themes such as:

  • Leadership & culture building — responsibility, mandate, motivation.
  • Communication — behavioral insights (DISC), clarity of goals, employee motivation.
  • Team development — delegation, conflict resolution, self-leading teams.
  • Financial management & efficiency — meeting structure, decision processes, follow-up.

Through repeated cohorts, leaders from across Sweden met, learned, and developed together — creating a shared language and a stronger leadership community.
